James Earl Hay Jr. LEBANON - James Earl Hay Jr., 63, of 338 Fields Ave., died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at home. Born Aug. 27, 1939, in Dickenson County, a son of the late James Earl Hay and Nova Toona Edwards Hay, he had lived in Lebanon the past 30 years. He was a partner in the former D. O. & W. Coal Company and was a U. S. Army veteran. James was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church where he has served as an elder, deacon, a member of the choir and had served on various committees of the church. He was a former chairman of the Presbyterian Parish of Southwest Virginia. He was a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge 251 A. F. & A. M. and the Lebanon Lions Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Arbutus Hay.
