Born April 2, 1912, in Buchanan County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Howard and Jenny McGlothlin. She had formerly lived in the Rosedale area and was of the Primitive Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burns Baldridge; two daughters, Chloe Baldridge and Kathleen Baldridge; one son, Winfred Baldridge; one sister, Berna Baldridge; two brothers, Roy McGlothlin and Mack McGlothlin; and her stepmother, Pearl McGlothlin. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Thomas of Florida, and Von Garner and Mavis Grinnell, both of Lansing, two sons, Tivis Baldridge of Woodbridge, Va., and Denny Sparks of Ohio; four sisters, Effy Looney of Floyd, Va., Nell Branham of Richlands and Juanita and Eddy Ruth, both of Grundy; three brothers, Frank McGlothlin of Grundy, Jess McGlothlin of Bristol Tennessee, and Ed McGlothlin of Cleveland, Ohio; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Castle, 69, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Virginia City, Va., and was a son of the late Charles E. and Viola Sampson Castle. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Observation Knob Church. He loved to spend his summers at South Holston Lake. Mr. Castle was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Lambert Castle. He is survived by two daughters, Debra Castle-Hartman and her husband, Jim, and Star Warren and her husband, Michael, all of Blountville; a sister, Rita Benfield, of Big Stone Gap, Va.; three brothers, Charles E. Castle Jr. and Delmer Castle, both of Bristol Tennessee, and Ronnie Castle, of Big Stone Gap; one granddaughter, Brooke Knowles and her husband, Trenton, of Johnson City, Tenn.; former wife and special friend, Bonnie Carter, of Bristol Tennessee, and her children and grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A native and lifelong resident of Washington County, Mr. Goodson was a carpenter and cabinet maker for Miller and Bradley. He was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as a deacon, church treasurer and song leader. Born Feb. 2, 1975, a son of Lloyd and Linda Penland Johnson, he was a lifelong resident of Russell County. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kimberly Johnson Roe and her husband David Roe, Johnson City, Tenn; a brother, Gregory Johnson and his wife Mitzi Johnson, Lebanon; his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Allene Penland, Castlewood; a nephew, Dillion Johnson, Castlewood; and a niece, Kathryn Roe, Johnson City. James Alan O'Hare BLOUNTVILLE -- James Alan "Jim" O'Hare, 62, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Wellmont Hospice House. Mr. O'Hare served as the postmaster of Bristol Tennessee after moving here in 1991 from Hunting Beach, Calif., where he served as postmaster for 12 years. Mr. O'Hare loved the Bristol area. Mr. O'Hare had acquired numerous awards and accomplishments during his life and career with the United States Postal Service. He was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel Arthur Donelson in 1993, and David Alan Donelson in 2002; a sister Marjorie Anderson; and a brother, Robert O'Hare.
