Charles Hunsucker WISE -- Charles Bruce Hunsucker, 80, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 1, 2003, at the Norton Community Hospital, Norton. He was born May 10, 1923, in Mayking, Ky., and moved to Wise County at an early age. He was the youngest son of the Rev. Lee and Laura Boggs Hunsucker. He was a charter member of the Trinity Life Center Church in Coeburn, since it's formation in 1984. He gave his love and labor in this construction. He was a retired UMWA coal miner, having worked in the mines for over 25 years and was a former employee of Old Ben Coal Co. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, serving in the 38th Parallel, a member of the Norton VFW Post 4301, DAV Chapter 56, the American Legion and he loved his country. Surviving are his wife, Moselle Mullins Hunsucker; several nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives; and a special pal, "Cotton". Marie was retired from Carolyn Manufacturing, formerly Big Jack Manufacturing, and also worked at Grey Hosiery Mill. She was a member of Denton Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include husband of 56 years, Robert E. (Bob) Montgomery; daughter, Barbara and Mel Bowman; sister, Juanita Stitt, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Phipps was born February 25, 1935, in Sullivan County, to the late William Ralph Hyatt and Annie Lucille Stine and was a life-long resident of the Bristol area. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Oliver and Pam Davis and husband Ronnie, all of Bristol Tennessee; one son, Larry Phillips, Bristol Tennessee; two brothers, Billy Hyatt and Eddie Hyatt, both of Bristol Tennessee; and three sisters, Charlene Littleford, Juanita Mitchell and Nancy Chapman, all of Bristol Tennessee.
