Anna was born in Washington County, Tenn., a daughter of William Ray and Cordy Jane Cole Keeling. She was a member of Blountville Christian Church where she had taught Bible school and was a member of the Women's Circle. She was retired from Bristol Lingerie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Kenneth Branham and Roy Jerome Branch, two sons, Jerry Mitchell Branch and Calvin Grant Branham, and sisters, Jean Cooper and Mary Barr. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Doris Branch and Kenny and Rose Branch, all of Johnson City; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Marty Jacobs, Bluff City, brothers, Earl J. Keeling, Glen Burnie, M.D., and Lloyd Cole, Bristol, 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Friends may call anytime at the homes of her children. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at Blountville Christian Church from 2:30-4 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Dwight Shaffer and the Rev. Johnson, age 73, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, at her residence. A native of Wise County, Va., she was a daughter of the late John H. and Bessie Smith Bray and lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was a retired employee of Beecham Laboratories with 47 years of service, was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Johnson, a sister, Marjorie Bray, and two brothers-in-law, Robert Sourbeer and Jimmy Kite. Survivors include four sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Sourbeer, Phyllis and Jack Lewis, all of Bristol Virginia, Jean and Donald Mauk and Jane Kite, all of Bristol Tennessee; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy Bray of Bristol Tennessee, Ronda and Mary Alice Bray of Boone's Creek and David and Mary Evelyn Bray of Bristol Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. Zane Landreth MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn. -- Zane Oliver Landreth, 69, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, in the James H. Quillen Medical Center, Mountain Home. A Bluefield, W.Va., native, Mr. Landreth had lived in East Tennessee since 1991. He was a son of the late Jerome and Hallie Johnson Landreth. Mr. Landreth was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked as an auto body painter. He was of the Baptist faith. A daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Kenneth Hooker, Lebanon, and several other relatives in Southwest Virginia survive. The graveside service for Mr. Landreth will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. The Lynn H. Folsom VFW Post No. 2166 Honor Guard and Chaplain will be in charge of the military service. She was a native of Sullivan County, daughter of the late Jess and Nora Shipley Smithson. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Holston Christian Church and a graduate of Holston Valley High School Class of 1941. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Thomas Peaks Jr. and Rita Peaks of Bluff City; granddaughter, April Lopez and her husband, Frank, of Bluff City; grandson, Thomas Peaks III and his wife, Tonia, of Bluff City, and sister, Edna Barr and her husband, Warren, of Bluff City. She was a native of Sullivan County, Tenn., a daughter of the late William and Margaret Lunsford Shaver. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by four daughters, Betty Swartz, Juanita Taylor, Phyllis Walls and Rosie "Toi" Overbay; sons, Lester "Buck" Saylor, Johnny Saylor, Gilbert "Doodle" Saylor, Kenneth Saylor and Sammy Saylor.
