(Burr-Head) Bradley, age 47, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville. He was a native of Bristol Tennessee and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Baptist faith and member of the Salvation Army Church in Bristol Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, the late Harry L. Bradley Sr. and the late Ruth K. Duckett Bradley McDuffie. Survivors include three sisters, Carol Atkins and husband Lewis (L.B.) Atkins of Abingdon, Brenda Kent and husband Gene Kent and Eleanor Bradley, all of Bristol Virginia; a special sister-in-law, Jennifer Scott Bradley Browning of Abingdon; three nieces; four nephews and three great-nephews. She has been a resident of Abingdon all of her life. She attended Martha Washington College, was a member of Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church and was an avid horse lover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Graham Bundy, and two grandchildren, Rudolph George Hetzer III and Terry Elizabeth Bundy. Surviving are two daughters, Muriel Sarver Copeland, Abingdon, and Cile Sarver Hetzer, Richmond; one son, John Scott Bundy, Abingdon; six grandchildren, James Randall "Randy" Copeland, Graham Scott Hetzer, John Robert Hetzer, Alyson Scott Bundy, Sarah Virginia Bundy and Rachel Lee Bundy, and eight great-grandchildren. Carver, 76, of Inglewood Place, died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, June 20, in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility, South Bend. He was born on Nov. 8, 1927, in Bristol Virginia, to the late Mary (Minnick) and William Frank Carver. Mr. Carver was also preceded in death by a son, Woodrow Miller, a sister, Imogene Faccy, and three brothers, Hubert, Bill and Ralph Carver. On Aug. 23, 1947, in Bristol Tennessee, Mr. Carver married Virginia Shelton, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Barbara Clayton of South Bend; a son, Larry Carver, also of South Bend; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; a sister, Betty Crusenberry of Bristol Virginia; four brothers, Robert (Pat) Carver also of Bristol, Sam (Jeanne) Carver of Granger, Ind., Jack (Luella) Carver of Indianapolis and James (Joan) Carver of Phoenix, Ariz., and by a daughter-in-law, Ann Miller of South Bend. He was born in Kona, Ky., and lived most of his life in Payne Gap, Ky. Mr. Craft was a retired coal miner and a member of the Payne Gap Freewill Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Wiley E. and Lydia Kincer and was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Audrey Dean Kincer, three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two sisters, Katie Meade, Coeburn, and Jean Stenett of Richmond, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was a graduate of Grundy Senior High School Class of 1977 and East Tennessee State University Class of 1981. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and attended the Vansant Church of Christ. He was a member of the Old Farm Country Club and the Willowbrook Country Club. Mike Henry Toney, 54, died Friday, June 18, 2004, in Norton. Warren H. Trivett GRUNDY – Warren Harold Trivett, 80 years of age, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2004, at his home, following an extended illness. Born in Dickenson County, he was the son of the late Wyley B. and Lea Mullins Trivett. He was a retired merchant and was owner of the Family Shop in Grundy. He graduated from Clintwood High School in 1942 and attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He was a member of the Buchanan First Presbyterian Church, a member of Sandy Valley Lodge 17 AF&AM, a member of the Kazim Temple in Roanoke, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was stationed on the Troop Carrier "William Mitchell," member of the John Ratliff Post 164 of the American Legion, former mayor for the Town of Grundy for two terms and a former town councilman. He was a former member of the Haysi Kiwanis Club and was instrumental in the early years of the Breaks Interstate Park. He was a former member of the Buchanan County Chamber of Commerce and a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award of the Lonesome Pine Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a world traveler and had visited all continents, except Antarctica, and his last trip was a cruise in the Rain Forest of the Amazon River Valley. Harold was an optimist and, every chance he had, he would tell you how happy he was and what a good life he had. Mr. Trivett is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy "Dot" Arrington Trivett of Grundy; one son, Terry and his wife Teresa Trivett of Grundy, and two grandsons, Matthew and his wife Anna Trivett of Frederick, Md., and Michael Trivett of Arlington, Va. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dr. J.C. Trivett, Dr. W.B. Trivett Jr. and J.B. Trivett.
