Baldwin TAZEWELL, Va. – Rebecca Lynn Baldwin died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at Norton. She was born at Buchanan County, Va., and was a daughter of Beulah Childress Stiltner of Bluefield, Va., and the late Lum Stiltner. She had made her home in the Richlands area for most of her life. She was a graduate of Grundy High School Class of 1973. She was the former owner and operator of Chatter Box Beauty Shop in Richlands. She was a very loving mother and loved her extended family. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil B. Stiltner. In addition to her mother, survivors are: husband, Henry N. McFalls was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War and was a member of the Virginia Education Association. Anna Woolwine Stein BRISTOL, Tenn. – Anna Woolwine Stein, 96, passed away Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at Cambridge House. She is now at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Abingdon and was a graduate of Martha Washington College. She taught at Miss Maude Kincaid’s Kindergarten at Anderson Street United Methodist Church and was employed by H.P. King Company and the Sterling House. She was a lifelong member of State Street United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of Circle 2. She was also a member of the Ann Carter Lee Chapter of the UDC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Glenroy C. Stein, her parents, Isaac and Roxanne Stigall Woolwine, a sister, Mozelle Wade, and her brothers, Mack Woolwine and Ernest Woolwine. Survivors include two nieces, LuAnn W. Crockett her husband, Dr. Claude "Stooky" Crockett, of Bristol Virginia, and Peggy W. Glenn Tolliver, age 93, a former resident of Weaver Pike, Bristol Tennessee, at the time of his death a resident of Westhaven Retirement Home, and had been a resident at Broadmore Assisted Living Facility, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon. Mr. Tolliver was born July 21, 1911, in Grayson County, Va.. a son of the late Martin and Dora Stanberry Tolliver. Mr. Tolliver moved with his family to Shady Valley, Tenn., in 1914, where he grew up, and had made his home in Bristol. He spent most of his life in Bristol, where he was owner and operator of Tolliver Mill and Store on Old 421. He moved to Manassas, Va. where he lived for 19 years, before moving back to Bristol in 1964. He then remodeled houses until his retirement. Mr. Tolliver was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Tolliver was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Smith Tolliver, his stepson, O.L. "John" Holden, three sisters, Hazel Wright, Ruth Lovell and Sylvia Miller, and a brother, Calvin Tolliver. Mr. Tolliver is survived by two brothers, Earl Tolliver and wife Joanne and Raymond Tolliver and wife Lorella; sister, Stella Payne and husband Earl; stepdaughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Holden; step-granddaughter, Molly Holden; a special friend, Earl Hicks; a very special "adopted" daughter, Marion Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
