Daniel Victor Bolling PULASKI – Daniel Victor Bolling, 80, died Thursday night, Dec. 23, 2004, in the VA Medical Center, Salem. Vic, as he was affectionately known, was born in Wise County, Va., on Dec. 24, 1923, and he was the son of the late Charles and Palmira Gardner Bolling. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Lester Bolling. Vic owned and operated a dental lab in Pulaski for many years and was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Pulaski. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces during World War II. Surviving are: wife, Ruth Crawford Bolling, Pulaski; one daughter, Kathy B. Terwilliger, Pulaski; two sisters, Leona Smith, Johnson City, and Victoria McColgan, Big Stone Gap; and two grandchildren, Christopher Terwilliger, Pulaski, and Zachary Terwilliger, Pulaski. "Bob" Bowers, age 85, of 697 Big Hollow Road, passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bowers was born on Feb. 10, 1919, in Sullivan County, Tenn., to the late Bob and Susan Hatcher Bowers. He had lived all his life in the Bluff City area, was a farmer, and was a former employee of TVA Building South Holston Dam. Luther Earl Wilkinson Sr. BLUFF CITY – Luther Earl Wilkinson Sr., 83, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 24, 2004, at his home. He was born on May 6, 1921, in Pentacre, W.Va., a son of the late Robert Lee and America Elizabeth Jarrett Wilkinson. He was also preceded in death by one sister and seven brothers. He served in U.S. Marine Corps for four years and was a member of the Church of God in Cedar Grove, W.Va. He was retired from the Sullivan County School System in 1974, having taught 22 years at Bluff City High School, Mary Hughes High School and Sullivan East High School.
