Hicks Bobby D. Hicks, 67, of 2648 Broad St., Bristol, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Hicks was born May 16, 1935, in Bristol Tennessee to the late William M. Hicks and Fannie Jo Malone Hicks. He was a self-employed tile setter. Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Bobby E. Hicks, Bristol Tennessee, Sandi and husband Leon Angeles, Bristol Tennessee, and Todd and wife Sharon Hicks, Bristol Virginia; two sisters, Shirley Smith, Bristol Tennessee, and Louise Carr, Blountville; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Angeles and Zachary Hicks; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by three brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Mountain View Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Sam Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home. Weaver Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Hicks.
