Kenneth "Lee" Henderson, 84, of 7136 Wolf Run Road, Bristol, Va., passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He had lived most of his life in the Bristol area and was the son of the late David and Finnie McCracken Henderson. He was retired from Bristol Steel and had been the pastor of Gum Hill Baptist Church since 1953. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie "Selma" Thomas Henderson; and a sister, Violet Lutrell. Survivors include: daughter, Jennie Lee Henderson of Bristol Virginia; sons, Kenneth L. Henderson Jr. of Bristol Tennessee, Larry Henderson of Bristol Tennessee, and David Henderson of Bristol Virginia; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Maynard Clifton, Rev. Roger Ball and Rev. Wayne McCracken officiating. Committal services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Gum Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Lynn Leonard, Junior Leonard, Donald Leonard, James Goodson, Brad Wyatt and Tim Jackson. Honorary pallbearers include: Boyd McCracken, Johnny McCracken Billy McCracken, Danny Ray McCracken, Vernon Thomas, Spurgeon Leonard and Chuck Lewis.
