He was a native of Bristol and a 1986 graduate of John Battle High School, where he played on both the football and baseball teams. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church and was empl-oyed by Sears. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clyde Honaker. He is survived by his parents, Russell and Ruth Honaker, Bristol Virginia; sisters, Nancy Fitzgerald, Sarah Widner and Amanda Taylor, all of Bristol Virginia; grandmother, Nancy Thompson Honaker, Bristol Virginia; three nieces; six nephews; and aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Tester and Rev. Les Ketron officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews Brian Fitzgerald and Jason Currin; cousins Tim Booher, Jeff Booher and Mark Booher, and friend, Shawn Pritchard. Honorary pallbearers: brothers-in-law Leon Fitzgerald, Shawn Taylor and Glen Widner and very good friend, Julious Tull.
