She was a lifelong resident of Bristol Virginia and a daughter of the late Robert L. and Anna Belle Jones Lambert. She had been a resident of NHC HealthCare of Bristol for the past eight years. She was a retired employee of United Inter-Mountain Telephone Company and an active worker in the Democratic Party. Miss Lambert was a member of Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church and, prior to her illness, was an active member of the Henley-Gleaners Sunday School class. Survivors include one sister, Vanda Amburn of Abingdon; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Mountain View Cemetery with Dr. Tony Collins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church, 327 Mary St., Bristol, VA 24201.
