Mumpower Miller, 56, of 720 Randolph St., Bristol, Va., went to be with the Lord Monday, March 24, 2003, at Wellmont Hospice House. Mrs. Miller was born Feb. 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Ottie and Elizabeth Roberts Mumpower. She was the widow of Carl Miller, member of Temple Freewill Baptist Church and a life long resident of Bristol. Survivors include one son, Terry Mumpower and fiancee Dawn Hobbs; grandson, Josh Hobbs; sisters, Barbara Moore and Donna Smith; brother, Bill Mumpower; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 27, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the Temple Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace Amos officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bridgeman, Jimmy Wright, John Burton, Larry Lowe, Ed Wright and Mark Shaffer. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Rock and Dr. Lisa Griggs.
