Ball Marjorie L. Ball, 72, of 549 Cheyenne Road, Bristol, Va., passed away at her residence on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003. She was the daughter of the late Charles Arthur and Effie Marie Campbell Stout. She had been a resident of the Bristol area since 1945 and was a former employee of Grey Hosiery Mill and had retired from the Holiday Inn Restaurant. Survivors include: sons, Charles Randy Stout of Bristol Tennessee, and Tommy Ball and wife Becky of Blountville; daughters, Debbie Ball Watson and husband the Honorable Judge Bill Watson of Bristol Tennessee, Marietta Gail Ball Leonard of the home and Regina "Reggie" Ball Fields of Bluff City; grandchildren, Melissa Stout Shuttle, Randall W. Stout, Sarah Stout, Aaron Watson, Mandy Leonard King, T.J. Ball, Tiffany Ball, Nathan Ball, Christopher Campbell and Cory Fields; great-granddaughters, Sydni Leonard and Alisen King; brothers, Marvin Glen Stout of Bristol Virginia, and William (Bill) Stout of Bristol Tennessee; sister, Sue Jones of Bristol Virginia; special nieces, Dorcas Blaylock and Lisa Clifton; special friends, Paul, Linda and Bryan Gibson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Rose Edna Stout, Peggy Stout, J.D. Stout, R.G. Stout, Charles Mack Stout, Clara Wright and Howard Stout. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with special family friend, Rev. Howard Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Marvin Stout, Michael Stout, Jr. Stout, Grant Stout, David Stout and Bryan Gibson. Honorary pallbearers include: Dr. Burt Banks, Dr. Peter Tuberty, Dr. Tom Townsend and all ETSU Family Physicians and staff, Dr. John Byers, Dr. John Fincher, Carla Moore (R.N.) and entire staff of 2 West at BRMC.
