Mrs. Patterson was born in Mount Pleasant, Tenn, to the late George and Florence Allred. She had lived in the Bristol area for 65 years and was a member of the Windsor Avenue Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband Harry Patterson; sisters, Stella Keith, Ethel Patterson, Eugenia Allred, Elizabeth Coppenger; and by one brother, George Allred. Mrs. Patterson is survived by two daughters, Jean Garrison of Bristol Tennessee, and Betty Dixon and husband Don of Bristol Tennessee; six grandchildren, Vicki Berry, Gale Collett, Dru Malcolm, Dona Carrier, Kim Hicks and Tod Dixon; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held Friday, March 28, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel with Minister Ross Dampier officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
