Pelham Jr. Moses Schwartz Pelham Jr., 68 years of age, of Bristol Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at his residence. Mr. Pelham was born in Bristol Virginia on April 30, 1934, to the late Moses S. Pelham Sr. and Okie Nobleton Pelham. He was a graduate of Douglass High School, where his life long musical career began. He pursued his career in the United States and Europe. He was a dedicated member of the Jehovah's Witnesses (Bristol Congregation) and the Frankfurt English Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses (Germany). Survivors: devoted wife, Hannelore Pelham; son, Moses Pelham III; sisters, Wilhelmina S. Pelham Banks; niece, Janice Lockett; four nephews, Mark Pelham, Jayson Pelham, Ebubedike Banks and Kwabla Banks; several grand-nephews, one grand-niece; sister-in-law, Isabelle Pelham; and friends, the Congregations of the Bristol Jehovah's Witnesses and the Frankfurt English Jehovah's Witnesses and the Bristol community. Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1017 W. Cedar St., at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003, with Ron Yelle and Bill Ross officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (Bristol).
