Pope Mary E. Creasey Pope, 72, of Leisure Park Towers, Bristol Virginia, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at Bristol Nursing Home. She was a lifelong resident of Bristol and was a retired employee of Opportunities Unlimited, formerly The Sheltered Workshop. She was a member of Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include four sons, Wayne, Larry, Ralph and Randall; three nieces, Bertha, Susan and Barbara; and one nephew, Harvey Lee. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Jan. 18, at the graveside in East Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jack Stevens officiating. Burial will follow. Those wishing to attend the funeral service may meet at Blevins Funeral Home at 1:30 Saturday afternoon to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Blevins Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family via e-mail at condolences@blevinsfuneralhome.com.
