Ringley William L. "Bill" Ringley, 78, of 4301 Gate City Highway, Bristol, Va., passed away on Friday, March 28, 2003, at Wellmont Hospice House. He was a native of Washington County, Va., and was the son of the late Cosby and Ella Pullon Ringley. He was retired from Farmbest Dairy where he worked as a district personnel manager. He was a U. S. Army veteran, serving in World War II, and was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Denton Ringley. Survivors include daughters: Teresa Osborne and husband Frank; and Donna Colley and husband Ed; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; sister, Agnes Neeley and husband J.D.; and brother, Edsel Ringley and wife Evelyn. He was preceded in death by sister Marie Houser; and brother Paul Ringley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2003, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dewey Williams, Brother Sam Haynes and Brother Jim Linkous officiating. Committal services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel. Military honors will be presented by the VFW Patton-Crosswhite Post 6975. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6- 7:45 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Empire Baptist School, 1317 Weaver Pike, Bristol, TN, or to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steele's Road, Bristol, TN.
