She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Roberts, in 2001. Mrs. Roberts was a long-time member of East End Christian Church. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Otey and her husband Danny of Bristol Virginia, and Judie Wilson and her husband John of Bristol Virginia; five sisters, Jean Baines, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Ruby Tignor, Lebanon, Edna Ferguson, Lebanon, Betty Cumbow, Kingsport and Eva Mitchell, Wabash, Ind.; two brothers, Wayne Helton, Bristol Virginia, and Dean Helton, Polo, Ill. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2003, from the Akard Funeral Home Chapel. Kenneth Littleford, minister, Wayne Lambert, minister, Ryan LeStrange, minister, and Dick Bailey, minister, will officiate. Interment will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will include elders and deacons of East End Christian Church and elders and deacons of the Shakesville Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the service at Akard Funeral Home. Those desiring may make memorials to the Bristol Heart Association, P.O.
