Bessie Smith

    Funeral services for Bessie Smith will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, 
Dec. 11, 2002, in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Sherfey and 
Rev. Lee Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. 
Pallbearers will be Larry Smith, Hoover Smith, Jeff Curbey, Lynn Sherfey, 
Jeff Booher and Richard Reed.
    Email condolences may be sent to the family at akardfh@peercom.net.
    Mrs. Smith, 83, of Bristol Virginia, died Sunday, Dec.. 8, 2002, in 
Bristol Regional Medical Center.
    Akard Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Smith.
