CORNILIUS KEITH & MARY HIS WIFE, WILL HAWKS AND REBECCAH HIS WIFE, MARY LAFFOON, WIDOW AND RELICT OF THE SAID MATT LAFFOON, BENJAMIN MOORE AND ELISABETH HIS WIFE, formerly LAFFOON, WILLIAM LAFFOON, MATTHEW LAFFOON, JAMES LAFFOON and STEPHEN DENNIS LAFFOON devisees of MATT LAFFOON DEC. late of the aforesaid county that the said MATT being seised{sic} of considerable estate made his best will & testament in writing bearing date the day of wherein he devises his estate to his wife MARY LAFFOON appted(?) his estate for the support of his children untill{sic} they arrive to the age of twenty one years of age and your Orators and Oratrixes further shew to the court they have all arrive to the age of twenty one except SIMON, DANIEL, LUCRETIA and CELAH H LAFFOON and the said estate is going to destruction{?} so that a sale of the said estate according to the will of the testr would be much more advantagious both to the complainants and to the infants when your Orators & Oratrixes pray may be made respondents to this their bill of complainting(?) their guardian to be appointed by this court as they are infants and cannot consent to a sale and division of the said estate without(?) the interdisposition(?) of this worshipful court to the end therefore that the said respond- ****** Fourth Page: dents may by thier{sic} guardians full true and perfect answer make to all and singular the allegations as fully and particularly as if the same were again repeated & c. and that your worships will appoint proper persons to sell and make division of the said estate and that the court will make such further order and decree as shall be agreeable to equity and good conscience may it please the court & c.
