WILLIAM BRYANT BARNES

   William B. Barnes, 66, retired farmer of Dolphin, Brunswick County, died 
Nov. 6 in a South Hill hospital.

   He was a native of Southampton County and lived in Courtland until 1921.

   He was a member of Liberty Methodist Church.

   He was married to Celeste Browder Barnes of Brunswick who survives him.

   Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Celeste Crane of Edgerton and Miss 
Mattie Sue Barnes of Dolphin, six sons, Norfleet Barnes, Herbert Barnes and 
Charles Barnes of Dolphin; A. Ben Barnes,of Lawrenceville; J.E. Barnes of 
Charlotte Court House and Albert Barnes of New London, Conn., two sisters, 
Mrs. Irma Babb and Mrs. Thomas Vaughan of Courtland. Two brothers, C.W. Barnes 
and R.T. Barnes of Courtland and fourteen grandchildren.
