Benjamin Harri- son, of Limestone county, Alabama, Mrs. Mary Ann Harrison, wife of Col. Benjamin Harri- son, in the 62d year of her age. She was born in Brunswick county, Va., in the year 1786.- She had been greatly afflicted for may years, which prevented her enjoying the privileges of the church; she had been a member of the Me- thodist Church for a number of years; she was raised by religious parents, and on her death bed said to a minister of the Gospel, that Jesus died for her. She was loth to leave her husband and children, but professed a willingness to die.- Through life she was a kind and affectionate wife, mother and mistress, and was truly devoted to the interest of her family. She had many re- lations and friends in Virginia to mourn her loss.
