BRUNSWICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA - WILLS - 1957 Will of Genarde D. Floyd I, Genarde D. Floyd, of Brunswick County, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, herby revoking all other wills by me at any time made: First: I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid. Second: I give and bequeath the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) each to my children, Pearl S. Pittard, William J. Floyd and Rossie E. Floyd, and direct my Executrix to pay said amounts to my said children. Third: I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Georgie Anna Floyd, all of my estate, real and personal, tangible and intangible, for Life, and having full confidence in her, I authorize and direct her to use so much of both the income and corpus of my estate as she shall find necessary for her comfort, support and maintenance. I specifically give to my wife the authority to use, consume or sell so much of my real estate, as well as my personal estate, as she , in her discretion, may deem necessary for her comfort, support and maintenance. Fourth: Upon the death of my wife, I give, devise and bequeath so much of my estate, real and personal, as remains undisposed of by my wife, if any, in fee simple and absolute to my said children, Pearl S. Pittard, William J. Floyd and Rossie E. Floyd. Fifth: I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife, Georgie Anna Floyd, Executrix of this my last will and testament, and I direct that she be permitted to qualify as personal representative of my estate without security on her bond.
