BRUNSWICK COUNTY, VA - WILLS - Celia Mitchell, 12 Feb 1848 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Will of Celia Mitchell I Celia Mitchell of the State of Virginia and County of Brunswick do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament in manner and for following Vig. In the first place I wish all my just debts paid. At my death I loan to my son Banister Mitchell my tract of land for the space of three years. The rest of my property I wish Equally divided between my children Robert, Nathaniel, Henry, Banister and Ransom Mitchell, also my daughter Sarah Jackson. That part of my property that will fall to my daughter Sarah Jackson, I wish placed in the hands of some trustee appointed by the court of the county, for the benifit of my daughter Sarah Jackson and her children. I also leave to my daughter Sarah Jackson all my clothes. At the end of three years I wish my tract of land to be sold to the highest bidder and the proceeds divided as above , between each of my children, as witness to this my last will and testament my hand and seal this twelth day of February in the year of our lord eighteen hundred and forty eight.
