BRUNSWICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA - WILLS William Clary, 1889 I William Clary being of sound mind and memory do constitute this my last will and testament. 1st. I desire my funeral expenses and just debts to be paid. 2nd. The remainder of my estate I bequeath to my beloved wife S.P.A.P. Clary and four sons as follows: 3 To my beloved wife S.P.A.P.Clary, I give the house in which I live and four acres of land attached, the garden included in the for acres during her life and at her death to go to T.W. Clary. 4th. A.M. Clary I give the place he lives on known as the land that I bought of Dc. Wm. Huff. 43-473 5th. T.W. Clary I give the place I now live on supposed to contain one hundred and fifty acres with twenty acres more to be cut off of the Lynch tract said line to ? from the creek to the road. 6th. A.S.Clary I give the five acres of land where he now lives lying between two branches and my interest in the mill known as Clary's Mill and he is to furnish my wife S.P.A.P. Clary her b ? corn as long as she lives. 7th A.J. Clary is to have the balance of the Lynch tract and Delbridge tract of land and the bay mare that he now has in possession. 8th My wife S.P.A.P. Clary I give all my household and kitchen furniture during life and at her death to be equally divided between my four children. I also give my wife S.P.A.P. Clary my Beak? mule. Lucy M. House is to have a house with my wife during life. If any of my sons die without an heir I want all the property to come back to my heirs. Each one of my sons is to pay my wife fifteen dollars per year so long as she may live. I leave my son T. W. Clary my executor and want no security required of him as such to this will. This last will and testament of William Clary deceased, was produced in Court and proved by the oaths of W.F. Kidd and Alonzo R. House, the subscribing witnesses thereto and orders to be recorded and on motion of T.W. Clary the executor therein named, who made oath thereto according to law and the will directing no security to be required of him entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $500.00 conditions as the law directs. CROWDER April 21st 1890 In the name of Almighty God I W.H.Crowder doe make this my will. I loan to my wife Sarah V. all of my real estate and personal property after my just debts are paid so long as she is my widowe then all my land to my three boys to stirling the land from the old gap as we went to B. Cleaton's now marked by a rock strait to a rock on west side of Joe gap to J.C. Crowder all the land on the west from the corner between me and C.L. Cleaton and myself to rock inside the fresh land to the corner next Charles Evanses to John L. Crowder the remainder of my land. My girls the sengle ones to have a home at my old homested during life or so long as they remain single. Stirling to pay ten dollars to each girl or the lawful ones James C. to pay each fifteen dollars and JL to pay $25.00 twenty five to each one and all my property to be divided among my girls or their lawful heirs those refusing to accept this wil is not to be benefited by it at all.
