Family Cemetery of Elias Stiltner & Amanda Rife Stiltner.
located on County Rte 3150, Osborne Branch Road, Rte 83
Slate Creek, Buchanan Co, VA.    There are five graves in
the cemetery. One headstone remaining for Hazel Fuller.    
Names:  Stella Stiltner three year old daughter of Elias &
Amanda Rife Stiltner.
Hazel N. Fuller three year old daughter of Ida Stiltner
Fuller and Doc Fuller
Reethie Stiltner, infant daughter of McKinley & Pattie Horn
Stiltner; Elias Stiltner; Amanda Elizabeth Rife Stiltner was
the last person buried in the cemetery on May 17, 1945.
Amanda Elizabeth Rife and Elias Stiltner were married at
Payne Branch, Slate Creek, on January 19, 1898.        
Elias Stiltner chose this 'spur' for the family cemetery
around 1920. When the cemetery "spot"  was chosen the area
was cleared.  There were crops and lots of farm buildings. 
The "spur" is directly above the house.  The access was a
path wide enough for a horse and sled.
