Horn SPRING HILL, Fla. -- Mr. Jessie L. Horn, 73, formerly of Buchanan County, Va., passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, in a Spring Hill hospital following a short illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Cam and Nancy Keene Horn. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Land O'Lakes Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lula Horn, Myrtle Walker and Ida Ward; and four brothers, Charlie Horn, Ellis Horn, Herbert Horn and Noah Horn. Mr. Horn is survived by his wife, Judy Horn of Spring Hill; four sons, Tery Horn of Land O'Lakes , Timmy Horn of Spring Hill, Kevin Horn of Spring Hill and Luther Horn of Dwight, Va.; eight daughters, Charlene Diaz of Tampa, Fla., Marlene Horn of Spring Hill, Regina Horn of Tampa, Joyce Horn of Tampa, Christian Horn of Spring Hill, Darnice Adkins of Hurley, Va.,. Darlene Grizzley of Richards, Va. and Nancy Horn of Norton; four sisters, Julie Keen of Patterson, Va., Edgar Ratliff of Cedar Bluff, Creda Horn of Pilgrims Knob, Va., and Lola Ward of Richlands; and 21 grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at the Brown Cemetery at Hale Creek, Va., with Rev. Troy Lester officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Buchanan Funeral Service at Keen Mountain, Va., from 6-9 p.m. Friday with services at 7 p.m. Buchanan Funeral Service is serving the Horn Family.
