Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Honaker Funeral Home, Honaker, Va. ------------------------------------------------------------- Bristol Herald Courier Tuesday, February 18, 2003 Noah Donald Ratliff DAVENPORT, Va. -- Mr. Noah Donald Ratliff, 47, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at his home. Born Jan. 6, 1956, in Buchanan County, he was a son of Blanche Barton Ratliff of Honaker and the late Shade Ratliff. A lifelong resident of the Buchanan County area, he was a member of the Bee Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a 1974 graduate of Council High School. A disabled coal miner, he had been employed by Island Creek Coal Company at VP No. 5. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Fayrene Barton Ratliff of the home; one daughter, Donna Faye Ratliff of the home; one brother, Walden Ratliff of Michigan City, Ind.; two sisters, Susie Stevens of Honaker and Martha Presley of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, with Rev. Giles Ball and Rev. Carson Powers officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon. Pallbearers will be Andrew Blankenship, Martin Ratliff, Gary Barton, Harold Hackney, Greg Stevens, Jeff Stevens, Guy Tiller, Leck Ray, Ricky Boyd, Johnny White, Dempsey Church, Fred Rowe, Wesley Barton, Shawn Deel and Jason Jackson. Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Tuesday where an evening service will be conducted at 7 p.m. with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating.
