Gilbert Roten
     COUNCIL, Va. -- Funeral services for Rev. Gilbert Dean Roten will be 
conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, with 
Rev. Guy Harris, Rev. Clarence Yates and Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Helton Cemetery on Stinsons Ridge.
     Pallbearers will be Harvey Thomas, Derrick James, Jerry James, David Owens, 
Burton Wilson, Bob Deel and James Bower.
     Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Howard Reynolds, Rev. Jason Reynolds, 
Rev. Donald Harris, Rev. Billy Hess, Elmer Ball, Harold Harrison, Harold 
Lambert, Dallas James and Paul Harris.
     Rev. Roten, 68, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, in a Grundy hospital.
