Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Berlen and Callie Stacy. He was a life-long resident of Buchanan County and a disabled coal miner. He is survived by three daughters; three sons, Jerald L. Stacy, Robert Stacy and Kyle Stacy Jr.; three sisters, Martha Anderson, California, Ruby Caudle, Richlands and Wanda Stacy, Grundy; and one brother, Carroll Stacy, Whitewood, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. James Chapman and Roscoe Rife officiating with burial to follow in Smith Branch Cemetery on Slate Creek, Grundy. Friends may call at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. Active pallbearers will be friends. Grundy Funeral Home of Grundy is in charge of all arrangements.
