It is on the Moon Farm known as “Travelers Rest”. Buckingham County DATE: 1813. The oldest grave marker. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: All the slabs are of medium size of marble. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The tombstone inscriptions follow: Sacred to the memory of Anna Yancey widow of Rev. Robert Yancey Who departed this life Aug. 1813 aged about 30 years Sacred to the memory of R.C. Williams who departed this life at 28 years. Dec. 1818 Here lieth Eliza R.
