Cemetery Location:  1.8 miles west of Buckingham C.H. on Route #60 to Dentons 
                    Corner; thence northwest on Route #56 (right) for 2.7 miles; 
                    thence south (left) on Route #647 for .6 mile; thence west 
                    about 300 yards through woods to graveyard.
                    Buckingham County



OWNERS:

It was first owned by “Robert Moseley of Buckingham” about the middle of the 
eighteenth century, and has been handed down to his descendants through the 
years.  It is still in the Moseley family. (1938)

DESCRIPTION:

This family burying ground is in a body of woods, about half a mile from the old 
homestead.  A rock wall about three feet high encloses the graves.  There are 
several lovely Box trees inside the wall.  The entire surrounding ground is 
covered with Periwinkle.

This old family graveyard is on the “Wheatland” estate – the ancestral home of 
the Moseleys.

The oldest graves are not marked.
