Capt. Robert HILL Obituary 

"To the Editor BUCKINGHAM, Oct. 1837 
SIR - Permit me to groupe together several departed friends, that death, the King of Terrors, 
has made havoc of in our good county of Buckingham, in the last few weeks:...Also, Capt. Robert 
HILL, a resident at our Court house; a gentleman, of very fair character, of amiable and bland 
disposition, courteous manners, and generally much esteemed by his acquaintances. He has left a 
young and amiable widow to lament her early deprivation."
