This is a very small graveyard in the backyard of the Gettle House.

Born at New London April 8, 1794
Died at Campbell C.H. Va. May 9, 1851
Aged 57 years. 1 mo. and 1 day
A friend to the needy and afflicted.
An affectionate wife and devoted mother.

Died Dec. 26, 1865
Aged 75 years, 10 mos. and 18 days
(Albin and Bro. makers of stone, Win’s, Va.)


Sacred to the memory of
Mrs. Martha F. Shepperson
who departed this life on Saturday the 25th day of
May 1839
Aged 35 years and 4 months and 23 days
