B. Adams Cemetery Location: 3 miles south of Rustburg, Virginia, on Route #501. Thence .5 mile west (right) on a little side road crossing L and D railroad tracks leading to cemetery. Campbell County DATE: 1820 OWNERS: Hayes Chapel 1820 to present date. (1936) DESCRIPTION: This cemetery is located back of the church in a grove of oak and pine trees. There is no fence. But some of the graves or small groups of graves have paling fences around them. This little cemetery is very well kept. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Jane Clard Dec’d May 8, 1820 Aged 82 To the memory of Mrs. Sally Preston who departed this life 27th of Jan. 1827 Aged 88 years To the memory of Mary A. Heston who departed this life the 4th day of May 1828 Aged 16 years and 6 months To the memory of Mrs. Margarete Walker who departed this life A.D. 1840 She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for many years. To the memory of Mrs. Sarah A. Porter Who departed this life 12th of March 1832 in the 34th year of her age.
