Campbell County Virginia USGenWeb Archives Court Records Henry THURMAN to Edward TERRELL Sr. ~ Power of Attorney, 25 Sep 1806 Campbell Co VA Deed Book 7 page 455-56 Know all men by these present that whereas an injunction will be presented at Campbell October Court to stay the proceedings on two judgments obtained in the said court by Isbell Wooster against me, and whereas it will be requisite that bond and security should be given in case the injunction shall be obtained: Now I Henry Thurman do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Edward Terrell Sen. My true and lawful attorney in fact, hereby authorizing him to sign my name to an injunction bond or any other paper necessary to carry on the injunction aforesaid and do hereby ratify whatever my said attorney shall do in the premises in the same manner as if I were personally present and actually signed the said bond or other instrument of writing. Witness my hand and seal this 25th day of September 1806. Signed, sealed acknowledged Henry Thurman (seal) And delivered in presence of Thomas Neale, Edward Terrell Junr. At a court held for Campbell County October 13, 1806. The within power of attorney was proved by the solemn affirmation of Edward Terrell Junr.
