Campbell County Virginia Court Order July 1829
Snow Vincent

Snow and Others V. Snows admin. Sue in Oby?  his cause came in this day to be 
heard upon the papers formerly read and the report of the Companioners made 
under former decretal order made in this cause upon consideration.  Whereof 
the court doth further order and decree that the report aforehand be 
confirmed approving thereof and it is further ordered and decreed that said 
companioners deliver over the bonds take by them for the sale of slaves of 
Vincent Snow decd. to John L. Adams who is hereby authorized to collect and 
receive the same and it is further ordered and decreed that said John L. 
Adams pay out of any monies in his hands as admin. of said Vincent Snow decd. 
the sum of $ 32 to the companioners for their services in dividing the land 
of said Vincent Snow decd. sale of slaves and for expenses paid by them to 
the cryer and surveyor as account files. 
 Order that Jehu Snow be appointed guardian of Carey Snow orphaned daughter 
of Vincent Snow deceased whereupon the gave bonds and security according the 
the law.  
Ordered that Richard Snow be appointed guardian of Abner Snow orphan son of 
Vincent Snow deceased whereupon he gave bond and security as the law directs.
Order that John L. Adams be appointed guardian of Jehu Snow and Jabez Snow 
orphan son off Vincent Snow deceased whereupon he gave bonds and security 
according to law.
