VA Campbell County, VA Deed Book 10, p 630-2 Articles of agreement made and entered into this 30th day of Octr. one thousand eight hundred and fifteen by and between Jane ROBINSON Relict of John ROBINSON dec'd of the county of Campbell of the one part and the several heirs of the decedent as are hereinafter named to wit., Henry ROBINSON of the county of Botetourt, John ROBINSON, James ROBINSON, William ROBINSON, James C MOORMAN of the county of Campbell, and Georg ROBINSON, Thomas ROBINSON and John MOORMAN of the State of Kentucky on the other part witnesseth. Whereas the said John ROBINSON dec'd having died intestate, his wife Jane as aforesaid one of the contracting parties hereof, for and in consideration of one dollar to her in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and an annuity of the sum of Two hundred dollars for and during her natural life to commence from the date hereof to be paid by the above named heirs as aforesaid to H ROBINSON, J ROBINSON and W ROBINSON, Who the said Jane ROBINSON hath appointed as trustees in this case, to care and provide for her in all things necessary for her comfortable support and maintenance for and during her life and in addition to the same to furnish her with houses, servants, and all other necessary accomodations Comfort and relief during her time of life and provide for her an elijible (sic) station for her abode for and in consideration of all which the said Jane ROBINSON hath by these presents bargained and sold, delivered and confirmed unto these heirs as herein before named of the decedent as aforesaid Jointly and severally all and every part of her right title and claim in and to her life estate to all the real and personal estate of the decedent as aforesaid, and hereby relinquish to the said heirs as above named all her right and title to any Estate or interest therein whether real or personal that may hereafter fall to the said decedent and will convey or cause to be conveyed to the said heirs as aforesaid a good and lawful title by deed and otherwise as may be advised of my life estate in and to all the real and personal estate of the said decedent or may hereafter accrue to him by a legal right, and title to them the above named Joint heirs and their heirs - ? - forever its further agreed by and between the contracting parties herein that should the above annuity of Two hundred Dollars prove insufficient for the support of the said Jane ROBINSON then and in that case the afore named heirs shall each of them jointly and severally by bound to pay to her trustees such additional sum as shall be sufficient for her further support and maintenance - ? - as aforesaid and the said Jane ROBINSON debars herself of the right of conveying her interest in the above mentioned annuity every part therof, or the accomodations to be afforded her as hereinbefore mentioned to any person or persons whatever without the consent of all the parties herein mentioned as its provided for her only support and maintenance as aforesaid and the trustees aforesaid hereby oblige themselves to draw off and settle an account of the expenses once every year of the support as aforesaid of the said Jane ROBINSON subject to and for the inspection of all the parties concerned and at her death the property or monies remaining if any of the annuity aforesaid to be equally divided among and between the heirs as aforesaid, in witness whereof the parties have hereunto set their hands and seals day and year first above written.
