Z. E. Cheatham, Dep. for Alex. Austin, C. Sur. C. C. Bounded by: St. Clair, Foster Dowel, Pryor, Wright, John Robertson's Estate and Alex. Steele (Alex. Austin was the Surveyor for Campbell County, Virginia and Z. E. Cheatham was his deputy. When Appomattox County was formed in 1845, Z. E. Cheatham became surveyor for Appomattox County.)
