SURVEY OF A TRACT OF LAND FOR JOHN HELM 
BEING SOLD TO JAMES SHEARER


OCT. 28, 1831

Surveyed this tract of land for Mr. John Helm lying in Campbell 
County on both sides of Falling River and bounded as pr. platt, 
containing four hundred and seventy five acres two rods and 28 
poles, the same being sold to Mr. James Shearer.

Bounded by: St. Clair, Foster Dowel, Pryor, Wright, John 
Robertson's Estate and Alex. Steele

(Alex. Austin was the Surveyor for Campbell County, Virginia and 
Z. E. Cheatham was his deputy. When Appomattox County was formed 
in 1845, Z. E. Cheatham became surveyor for Appomattox County.)
