Born in Charlotte Co, she was the daugher of Peyton and Lucy Cocke Maloney. Her marriage to Mr. Williams took place July, 1889, and she lived at Hat Creek from that year. She was an active member of the Hat Creek Presbyterian Chruch. Surviving are a son, Wayland B. Williams of Durham, N.C., a daughter, Mrs. Harold Thornton of Roanoke; a sister, Miss Bertha Maloney of Hat Creek, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this morning at 11 in Hat Creek Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Marin Dick, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Submitted by James H. Maloney
