Or, be it remembered that I, Daniel Driskill of Campbell County, being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory, do make and publish this, my Last Will and Testament, in manner and form following: That is to say first to my beloved wife, I give and bequeath my whole estate, real and personal goods and chattels of every descriptioin whatsoever, to dispose of by her as she sees cause. And, my worthy friend, Andrew S. Whitlow, I do hereby appoint sole Executor of this, My Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. Campbell County VA The Commonwealth of Virginia to John Dennis and Robert Morton: Gentlemen, Justices of the County Court of Charlotte, Greeting. Whereas the writing hereto annexed purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Daniel Driskill deceased, hath been offered for proof to our County Court of Campbell County, and it not being convenient for Martha Moore, one of the witnesses attesting the same, to travel to our said court, know ye therefore that we trusting to your fidelity and provident circumspection in diligently examining the said Martha Moore require you in probance of the order of our said Court, that on such days and at such places as you shall appoint, you cause the said Martha Moore to come before you and take her attestation on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God, or upon his solemn affirmation as the case may require, and that her said attestation to our said Court distinctly and plainly without delay you do certify in the same manner such acts are required by law to be authenicated and saafely send enclosed returning also the said writing and this will, witness Robert Alexander, Clerk of our said Court the 21st day of October, 1815 in the 40th year of the Commonwealth. /s/ Ro.
