DEED 75-246  9/1908-8/1909 	Caroline County, Virginia

Know all men by these presents that I William J. Pavey, a head of a
family, householder and citizen of Caroline County, residing in the
State of Virginia do hereby signify my intention to claim, and do hereby
claim, select and set apart as exempt form levy, garnishment and sale
under the Constitution of Virginia and the Acts of the General Assembly
passed pursuant thereto, the following described property, with the cash
valuation of each article thereto affixed, to wit:

1 Bay mare named Maud about 5 yrs. old			$150.00
1 light colored cow named Sallie				  20.00
1 deep red heifer named Nellie				  15.00
4 shoats and 1 hog							  20.00
50 Fowl									  18.00
1 "Old Hickory" one horse wagon				  35.00
1 Buggy									  25.00
4 sets buggy wagon and plow harness			  15.00
3 double and single horse plows and 1 cultivator	  16.00
Household and kitchen furniture				  50.00
1 Sewing Machine							  45.00
2000 ft. of lumber @10.per M.					  20.00
20 Barrels corn grown year 1908				  60.00
3 stacks top & blade fodder idem				  21.00
2 cords shucks idem							   6.00
6 Bushels of wheat idem						   7.00
5 Bushels of black peas						  10.00
1 stack of Millet & pea hay grown year 1908		  20.00
Crop of tobacco grown year 1908				 150.00
Total Valuation							$703.00

All of the above specified and valued personalty now being upon that
part of the real estate owned by J.J. Pavey which I cultivate and upon
which stands the house in which I live, that being in that well known
and celebrated section of the County of Caroline known and called
"Pratts Woods".
Given under my hand and seal this the 27th day of November in the year
of our Lord One Thousand and Nine Hundred and Eight.

I Richard L. Beale a Commissioner in Chancery for the Circuit Court of
Caroline County in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that William
J. Pavey whose name is signed to the foregoing writing bearing date on
the 27 day of Novr.1908 has acknowledged the same before me in my County
aforesaid and State of Virginia.

The foregoing Deed with the annexed certificate was this day received in
