This is the Death Certificate of my Grandfather, Henry Washington
Montgomery.  He was born in Carroll Co., VA August 21, 1895, the son of
Thomas B. Montgomery and Margaret India Felts.  Henry was one of seven kids
his other siblings were Albert, Hattie Mae, Lawrence, Kelly H., Ora Bell
and Arla Brook Montgomery.  They were also the grandchildren of Joshua G.
Montgomary & Penolope Cock and Theadore Felts & Avis Eva Farmer.  Sometime
after 1915, Henry married Stella Ruth "Sissy" Bobbitt.  She was born in
February 1899, the daughter of Martin Van Burren Bobbitt and Flora Flinchum
Lynch.  She was one of at least four kids Anderson, Raleigh Washington and
her twin that died as an infant.  They were the grandchildren of Greenberry
Bobbitt & Nancy J. Bryant and John Frank Flinchum Lynch & Sophia
Stockner.  After Henry and Stella married they had at least 2 two children;
Lillian (born January 1918) and James Martin Montgomery (born May 26,
1919).  Before his son Jim turned four months Henry died.  It is said that
while he was helping a neighbor dig a well by hand and got sick while in
the well and when he was being pulled up in a bucket, he fell out.  His
back was broken and he eventually died from the fall.  For further
