WILLIAM DAY
of Virginia

   William Day applied for revolutionary pension August 21, 1818, while living
in Charles City, City County, Va. He was then 57 years of age. He entered the
service in September, 1779, and was discharged, in Salisbury, North Carolina, in
January, 1781. In the year 1820 he stated that his family consisted of a wife
aged 59 years, a son who was of age, and two daughters who were of age.
