Archer Farley from James Watkins Sr.

This Indenture made this twenty first day of March in the year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and ninety two between James Watkins Senr. of Charlotte
County of the one part and Archer Farley of the other part witnesseth that the
said James Watkins for and in consideration of one hundred and sixty pounds to
him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged that bargained and
delivered unto the said Archer Farley a certain tract or parcel of land situate
in Charlotte County on Blue Stone Creek it being the land whereon the said
Farley now resides containing by estimation four hundred and thirty three acres
more or less and bounded by the lines of Edward Moseley, Stith, Mims, Mary
Farley & Robertson with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining.   To the said Archer Farley his heirs and assigns to have and to
hold forever against any claim or claims of the said James Watkins, his heirs,
assigns, executors or Administrators and against the claim of any other person
or persons.   The said James Watkins his heirs & will by these presents forever
warrant and defend the said land & to him in witness whereof the said James
Watkins hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day & year above
written.

Watkins, Thompson Watkins, Isham Watkins.

At a court held for Charlotte County the 2nd day of April 1792, This Indenture
was acknowledged in Court by the said James Watkins to be his act & deed &
