Written: July 24, 1776
Recorded: January 6, 1777

I Sarah Thompson of the County of Charlotte being sick of body but in
perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same do make and
ordain this as my last will and testament in form and manner following,
Item I give and bequeath my Negro man slave Will to my grandson
Archer Farley to him and his heirs forever
Item I give unto my grandson Thompson Watkins nine pounds twelve
shillings current money to be paid when he comes of age with interest
to him and his heirs forever.  My desire is that my estate to be
appraised.  I do appoint James Watkins executor of this my last will
and testament in witness hereof I have hereto I have here unto bid my
hand and affixed my seal this 24th of July anno 1776
