Charlotte County, VA Will of William Vaughan 1837/1838 Will Book 8, page 99 Transcribed by JoLee Gregory Spears 17 November 1998 In the name of God amen I William Vaughan of the County of Charlotte do make this my last Will and testament as follows to Wit. My will and desire is that my Executor hereafter named to soon after my death as may be practicable sell all my Estate both real and personal and out of the proceeds such sale pay all my just debts, after the payment of all my just debts it is my will and desire that all of my Estate of every description be equally divided between my son William Vaughan and my daughter Sarah Featherston the wife of William Featherston to them and their heirs forever. Lastly I hereby appoint my friend Archibald Vaughan Executor of this my last will and testament with full power to sell and convey my land and to fully execute my will In testimony whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this 15th day of November 1837.
