Tharp Charlotte Co., VA WB 2, Pg. 386 I, Elizabeth A. Tharp of Beatrice, Charlotte County, in the State of Virginia do make this my last will. I give to Robert A. Tharp at my death the house and lot on which I now reside at Beatrice in Charlotte County and State of Virginia containing (8) eight acres of land. I give to my children an equal share in the remainder of my estate real and personal consisting of (50) fifty acres of land, more or less, lying on Sandy Creek in the County of Charlotte and State of Virginia, this being the same tract of land bought by my husband, C. Allen Tharp of James A. Ferrell and afterwards deeded to me. The names of my children who I wish the remainder of my estate divided equally among after giving the lot and house to Robert A. Tharp, is Wm. R. Tharp, Eliza Jane Lankford, Charles H. Tharp, E. T. Tharp, Susan A. Rutledge and Robert A. Tharp. I appoint Drury B. Hutcheson of Sandy Creek, Charlotte County, executor of this will. In witness whereof, I have signed this instrument as my will at Beatrice on Feby. 17th, 1904. Elizabeth A. Tharp and acknowledged by her as her last will, in the presence of us, the undersigned subscribing witnesses, both of us being present at the same time, and each of us, at the request of the said Elizabeth A. Tharp, and in her presence subscribed the said will as subscribing witnesses thereto. Witness our hands 17th Feby. 1904. H. B. Holloway, W. E. Boswell. In Charlotte Circuit Court Clerk's Office, May 5th 1908. The last will and testament of Elizabeth A. Tharp, deceased, was this day produced before me, and the same was proved by the oath of W. E.
