Earkins of the 2100 block of Concord Drive, a retired nurses' assistant, died July 12, 1992, in a nursing home. Mrs. Earkins was born in Norfolk and had been employed with the cities of Norfolk and Chesapeake. She was a member of United House of Prayer For All People-Church Street and Order of Eastern Star 51. She was the widow of William Earkins . Survivors include two sisters, Mildred Granby of Norfolk and Margaret Cornelius of Chesapeake. The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in United House of Prayer For All People-Church Street by Apostle William Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at 612 Reservoir Ave. Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
