Norfolk - Mrs. Ann Harrell, 51, of 1138 Holt St., the wife of Irving Harrell,
died July 29 in a hospital.

A native of Colerain, NC, she was a daughter of the late Sampson and Mrs. Temple
Leary.

She was a domestic and a member of Holy Jerusalem Church of God in Christ on
Vick Street.

Besides her husband, surviving are three sisters, Miss Ethel Leary of New York,
and Mrs. Mamie Harris and Miss Lucy Leary of Edenton, NC; two brothers, Leonard
Lewis Leary of Norfolk and Sampson Leon Leary of Colerain: 11 grandchildren; and
three great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held August 3 in Holy Jerusalem Church of God in Christ by
Elder Queenie Barton. Burial was in Roosevelt Memorial Park with Twilight
Funeral Home in charge.
